Returns & Refunds

Elegant Lifestyle Perth honours the consumer guarantees set out in the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010).

Your statutory rights

You are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund if a product:

  • has a major fault that cannot be reasonably fixed,
  • is significantly different from the description, sample or model shown, or
  • does not do what we told you it would do, or what you asked for and we agreed to.

For minor faults, we will repair the item within a reasonable timeframe. If repair is not possible, you may choose a replacement or refund.

Custom-built and made-to-order pieces

Custom-built items (made-to-order sofa sets, fireplace TV units, custom-finish marble tables, bespoke sizing or upholstery) are produced specifically to your specification and are not eligible for change-of-mind returns. Your statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law for major or minor faults still apply.

Change of mind

Beyond your statutory rights, we do not offer voluntary refunds or exchanges for change of mind on either stock or custom pieces. Each visit to our Kenwick showroom is unhurried by design so you can be confident in your selection before purchase. We strongly recommend visiting the showroom or requesting additional photos and material swatches before placing an order.

How to make a claim

Contact our team within a reasonable time of discovering the issue:

Please include your order number, photos of the issue and a brief description. We aim to respond within one business day.

Cost of returning faulty items

For major faults, we cover the cost of return transport and re-delivery within Perth metro. For regional and interstate returns we will arrange the most efficient option in consultation with you.

Refund timing

Where a refund is agreed, it is processed within 7 business days to the original payment method or, where the order was paid by cash on delivery, by direct bank transfer to a nominated account.
